ICBA Business Survey 2024

The ICBA Business Sentiment Survey 2024 is now live and currently open to ICBA members. This is a short survey that aims to bring together all of the voices of the Ireland Canada business community and paint a picture of the business environment in Ireland: its strengths and where it needs to be strengthened, the most pressing priorities for multinational business leaders, and their plans for future investment.

If you are currently an ICBA member we would ask that you take a moment (Before June 12th) to complete this very short survey. We hope to use the survey to secure national media coverage ensuring that your voice and that of the wider Ireland Canada Business Community is heard.

Followers of the ICBA LinkedIn channel certainly enjoyed the excellent photos of Tánaiste Micheál Martin and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau celebrating St Patrick’s Day together. The Tánaiste’s visit to Canada was very well-received and a true testament of the strength of the relationship between our two nations.

Please visit and follow the ICBA LinkedIn page to keep up-to-date with all of our events, photos, podcasts, videos and relevant news.

…and on the topic of St Patrick’s Day, thanks to Bláithín O’Donnell, ICBA Council member and Sales Manager Ireland at Air Canada, for this great short video message, wishing all of our members and friends a Lá Fhéile Pádraig.

ICBA Business Briefing

We were delighted to recently collaborate with the Shannon Chamber to showcase Canada’s market potential for Irish Exporters and why some Canadian companies choose Ireland. At the briefing in EI Electronics, we heard Michael Prendergast tell the story behind Bathfitter’s Limerick operations and we also heard about the success of Tekelek in the Canadian Market from Sean Ganley. Suzanne Drisdelle from the Canadian Embassy gave excellent insights on the extent of Ireland Canada trade and the potential for collaboration in the cleantech sector.

Terry Fox Run

This years Terry Fox Run will be hosted again in Herbert Park, Dublin 4 on Saturday, September 14th at 9am and we are inviting anyone willing to get involved to join the organising committee or to assist on the day. We’ll be welcoming over Terry’s older brother Fred Fox as a special guest of honour this year and again all funds raised will go directly to the Irish Cancer Society.

Your help will make this year’s run bigger and better than ever!
